Actually the pirates mutinied so we have the old captain and his men to turn in for the bounty and the others are going to be privateers in the south. What I don't understand is how ANY pirate crew stayed with the captain seeing as they face almost certain execution. It seems like a foolish thing to honorably stay with a captain when youre a pirate.

What ever, if we don't get enough money from the bounty to bring the Helena up to how it was AND upgrade it decently then Miko is probably out, she is already on the edge after Gilliam's recent actions and the lack of resolution she got from the pirate situation.

Yeah, man. Who would want to help people if it's going to end up costing you anything?

Who wouldn't want to help out someone who was directly responsible for the death of 2 of your crew...

you forget my paranoid purpley eyed french girl disadvantage. Ok so we are getting towed back to port, since Miko decimated our engines. Did we salvage the Academy plane Wolfram and I took down? Otherwise we are down a plane, even more expense on our limited budget. Sigh, I wanted to sell some excess Zep parts for Performance plane parts, alas. We will be defeated, horrifically. I'm sure the other houses come back with radically modified planes and much improved skills. Well no matter, I have XP and Insp and I intent to spend it. Wisely.

Nay. I fixed the engines as I said in my post. Being towed anywhere is beneath us. We are Hawk House. We'll fly our scrap back home proudly. And total Janitorial House too.

I think you currently have Wolfram's massively-shot-up Eagle Interceptor, and one of your original accademy scout planes. Did you manage to salvage any others?

We didn't rp the salvage...something we need to do before we start the next ep. Cause the pirates wanted to be out of there soon and couldn't help with the salvage.

I'm not sure if you had a chance to get anything. You couldn't even move for most of the time (what with the damaged engines), and you left before they did iirc.

Eh, maybe I'll roll a few dice for it and see what you got, since no players were directly overseeing salvage (correct me if I'm wrong).

I don't understand what you're getting at. Your achivement wasn't helping the pirates who left, it was eliminating the threat of that pirate gang in the region. Countless traders and civilians were liberated from their harassment. This is not to mention saving the kid.

Besides, you were very lucky to only lose two. The pirates you were fighting lost many more than that.

And they'd have lost many more if that crap wouldnt have gone down. You're really seeming like youre rail-roading with this "the pirates are good people" crap let me role play Miko in a way that makes sense. She doesnt have the bounty yet, she has a decimated zep and 2 beat up planes, and she just left a crew full of pirates on a zep she enjoyed more than the helena (because it did better in combat).

Also Gordon definately said he was gonna do the salvage and you said that we were gonna skip role playing it because of time.

What I'm trying to say is, regardless of what you think of the pirates, you still did a lot of good. You seem to think that none of what you accomplished was worth it because your zep is a bit shot up. You still saved many people's lives and fortunes.

And my point wasn't that you should feel sorry for the pirates who died. It was that crew death in airship combat is a very inevitable thing, and that only losing two people (while taking enough fire to be shot down) is very uncommon.

As for salvage...

And as I said, if your plan was to leave before the pirates (as soon as your engines were fixed), then you'd have had no chance to salvage anything. We'll figure out exactly what happened, and either roll for what you found or not.

Ok now back to the old discussion. What were the presents? Crashed? Plane and Zep parts I guess. How much was the bounty, and what is the current status of planes and the Helena?

Mark do Paul and I need to pick out classes before the next time we run? That way we are caught up. That and will more private lessons be offered this coming "term"?

Sorry to be a nag, just kinda want to be up to speed when we play again.

It shouldnt take you long to get caught up as long as you roll well and get into your electives Razz

If not you'll have to do something to prove to the instructor you're worthy. Twisted Evil

A pair of brand new Falcon Frameworks FC30s.

The Helena is no longer yours, and it is presumably being fixed. Wolfram's interceptor has been fixed just enough to get him into Mass' Stunt Flying class, and the rest have yet to be worked on.

Private lessons, possibly, but no information on them has been released yet. I'll post class lists for the two of you, as well as a list of electives. You'll have to roll to get into electives, unless you pick the one reserved for Hawk House.

Yeah, cause I really hate forums and talking about Ciel. Wink
