Ok so I guess the "A pair of brand new Falcon Frameworks FC30s." are really nice plane frames. Dibs on one of those. The plane I took back was in perfect condition so. I'm looking forward to some new classes. Just post the list of them and the electives, I need to plan my attack run on them.

Oh another thing, Timeline, I've not been able to keep an accurate track of the date in the recent episodes, so any insight into that would be helpful.

You don't need to call dibs. They were addressed to you personally from Michael's father, with instructions to give the second one to whomever you choose. And they're whole racing planes with engines, not just airframes.

I've really not bothered with dates, so it'll take some figuring.

ahhhhh! Sorry just had a spazm from excitement. Gha I can't wait to try one out. This will make things a lot more interesting. Now I kinda wonder what the stats are on them. Oh well, that gives us 4 planes now. Boy I really want to play now.

Six. The second year Raven student brought back the accademy plane that she stole from the pirates, and you managed to salvage the remains of the pirate interceptor.

Ah nice, ooo forums tag, short lived though as I have to leave for work in 5 mins. Too bad we couldn't salvage the academy plane we shot down. Oh well. 3 superior planes, 2 standard planes and 1 subpar one is better than 1 flying junk heap that we had when we still were in the Skyviper, excuse me the NEZ POS.

STANDARD?! My plane was anything but standard. My plane was the one given back and as I remember it was in perfect shape. So we have 3 planes in perfect shape. 2 really really good ones. 1 really good one. 1 good one. 1 standard one. and 1 waterlogged shit-pile (cough joewhite's new plane cough) And I'll have you know that I stood up for you when you weren't there. There was talk about you never finding your note! (probably jokes, but who knows)

I hope my pirate comes through with some plane parts before the end of dueling season, but who knows. We have much fixing ahead of us. We were lucky to get Gordon's plane in the air at all. But it was all the more enjoyable to watch him tear up in a plane full of bulletholes and a wing that was completely unfinished and had some scortch marks on it (thanks botch-o-matic...I mean miko!) Some of the other houses have some nice shit though...pheonix airframes among them (bet you couldn't guess which house those were from) Raven has something up their sleeve as well. All in all it will probably be a delightful dueling season with many twists (and corkscrews, and barrel rolls, and hammer-heads)

Ok so the planes we have currently. Not sure the stats on the FC30s so here we go.

Good planes

Hawk (Wolfram) Some damage, soon to be repaired.

FC30 #1 (Guin) Mint Condition, Perhaps to get some Neil "tweaking"

FC30 #2 (Unassigned) See above.

Average planes

Raven returned NEA plane (Neil) I'm guessing its still in pretty good condition.

NEA plane I stole back (unassigned) That plane was unshot so its still in good shape.

Umm wings and an engine

Water-logged Pirate POS, (Miko) Not as bad as the scouts we flew earlier but pretty horrible. Going to need some major work to make flyable from what I understand.

Needless to say we have our work cut out for us. Was there any dueling while I was away?

Quick question, can you muddle with a planes fuel mixture for a performance boost like you can a Zep?

I think that's getting a little too far in just trying to tweak out.

And don't call my plane a POS or I'll kill you fool.

Also, Classes have been reworked!

Well I figued you could do it in Zeps why not in planes, anything to give you an edge, not just tweak out.

I flew that plane, and I let it crash into the sea to get an Academy plane back, that tells you my opinion of its worth.

I kinda figured.

I'm sure some of this will be incorrect, but John can verify...

You can mess with a plane's air-fuel mix right in the cockpit. I think you almost always want to be running full-rich, but there may be situations in which that's not appropriate. Therefore, there's nothing you can really do with fuel mixtures to boost a plane's stats, since they represent a proper mixture from the start.

Honestly, Neil might be sort of bored this term unless one of you crashes. The Eagle Interceptor and the FC30s are all a bit too sophisticated to tweak, and he's done quite a bit with his own plane already. I guess we'll see what he learns in his parts design class.

Speaking of classes, I still need to post those for you. I'll do it when I'm home and I have the list.

As for the mixture:
You get peak power by finding peak egt and then running slightly rich of that.
I don't know if an egt gauge was a common thing in the 20s, but you should be able to see some difference in power through it's proper use.
At sea level you almost always run full rich though...

And since there's no way I'm making a horribly tedious system for performance vs. altitude, we'll go with "proper fuel mix = full normal bonus."

Ok Mark if you get a chance to post the Class list could you do so. Probably not going to be able to play for a long while so I'm going to need to pick classes on here. Also if you could PM me the stats on the FC30 I'd appricate it. Look for a PM on the steps Guin would take once finding the note about the planes and the decision of who the other plane goes to.

Also, you said the plane the Raven brought back was Neil's. Whose plane was it that I took back?
