This thread is just to let everyone know how the game is progressing thus far.

As of now I am going to be taking it slow. Folding more people into playtests with pre-generated characters and backstories so that we all can learn and understand the game a little bit at a time. Along with me learning how to GM a game. I'll be reaching out to people soon for the next playtest.

Since The Force Awakens came out, I have been in full Star Wars mode. I have been trying to take in the new Canon. Is there anything that may spoil the game that you'd want to be off limits?

I'll be honest, as much as I was a minor expert on the old EU, now star wars legends canon, I have not looked too much into the new canon books and such. Let me know next time you run this I will attempt to make it.

I was going to steal some ideas and settings from the new Marvel comic books. Star Wars, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Lando, etc. If you already read them, no biggie

Since D&D (pre-maturely) ended, and we're looking for other games to play I thought that I might start to try and get this rolling again.

Given that my time is typically pretty chewed up during the week, I will probably work on this during the weekends. So progress will be slow.

For starters, I'm going to do a pre-gen session just to get us used to the system. I'm thinking that this might go down around Thanksgiving at the very earliest.

As for the characters, I'll be making them, but with your input. That way we can all play with something that we may relatively enjoy.

Since this is Edge of the Empire, force use will be muted at best, since jedi and force sensitive individuals have steep prices on their heads and are actively hunted.

Update!!

Episode 1: Trouble Brewing
Date: November 23rd, 7pm start time
Place: T-House

Some have started to form characters, which I'll post below. Reminder; if you want to play force sensitive, PM me to let me know.

Wookie: Hired Gun - Marauder ROLLED!
Rodian: Bounty Hunter - Survivalist Mostly ROLLED!
Raceless (Corellian??): Smuggler - Pilot Tenatively ROLLED!
Duros: Explorer - Archaeologist [ROLLED!]
Chiss: Technician - Outlaw Tech [ROLLED!]
Human: Bounty Hunter - Assassin ROLLED!

Setting:
To start, our gang will be on the planet Formos, a backwater world on the outer rim. Here you've begrudgingly taken up residence due to a lack of funds and a ship worthy of planetary travel. With little else to do, you've taken up odd jobs to pass the time and to build up the credits needed to outfit yourselves with a transport off of this rock.
Going has been slow since none of you have really made much of a name for yourself yet and few are willing to hire anyone so green. However, you have recently heard of a score that could potentially net you enough credits to not only outfit you soundly, but also give some well deserved comeuppance to others..[/u]

So play dates,

This coming Friday is no go because of the St. Nicholas Feast. What does the following Saturday look like for everyone? It would be December 3rd.

Also, the following weekend Dec. 9th-10th is a no-go for me, we'll most likely be out of town Friday and then that Saturday is my Father's Christmas Party.

Thoughts? Ideas?
