You go wrong for $4? or $9 and get the promised swag?

His goal was $15! Surprised

That's a shocking number/quality of rewards for a $9 pledge.

Yes, that was a bit of a red flag for me. I'm curious if this is a serious campaign. Maybe he's using the low goal as a means to promote a game that he was going to launch anyways? I have to admit that the ~15000% funded made me click on it in the first place.

http://www.ghostofatale.com/

Redwall-inspired action(?) rpg with a focus on exploration and stealth instead of combat. Certainly looks pretty.

In early access, but the positive/negative reviews on Steam are currently 108/2, with only about 30% of the game available to play (according to one of the reviews).

Doesn't look bad, but it's hard to say from what's there. I guess that's always the gamble buying a game like that with no reviews.

agreed, and $60 is a bit much for a game that may or may not be any fun

My hope is that with 100+ tokens you'll be able to build your own modules.

Just backed Tales From The Loop - Roleplaying in the 80's That Never Was. It's based on the paintings of a Swedish Artist (images below). You play as kids confronting the unknown mysteries that surround your small town in the 1980's. Think Stranger Things or ET in RPG format. It's system won a Silver ENnie for Best Rules at Gencon 2015.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing someone post that in a Facebook group. And it's actually going to be done in only a couple of months? Nice.

New RPG that was recently pimped on Penny Arcade. Interesting concept, but the dice rolling looks strikingly similar to Star Wars (even uses the same names for the dice!)
