This is a thread for games that aren't out yet, but look neat. For the purposes of remembering they exist, I'll add stuff to the OP on request and/or keep links updated.

Man, home escape rooms...that's one of those "why the hell didn't I think of that, it seems so obvious" type things. Not surprised at all that they got funded. Did you kick it?

Not yet, still debating. $45 is a little steep, though not compared to escape rooms you go visit as a group. Reviewers who received test copies seemed to highly enjoy it but $45 for a 1 shot 1 hour event seems rough if I could spend that same $45 on some of the narrative board games starting to hit retailers.

they plan to sell refills but essentially you'd know all the puzzles so another group of friends could play it with you kind of watching

I was sad that I missed the Little Devil Inside Kickstarter

Excited for this
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/deadmage/children-of-morta from a year ago. Surveys went out a little bit ago, so it makes me hopeful.
and this
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1661802484/hyper-light-drifter from 2013. Apparently it have been to quite a few conventions and is also nearly ready to ship. (a bit off from a delivery date of mid 2014) Such is the nature of the Kickstarter beast though.

This looks like it would be a blast once Chase and Brynn get a little older.

local co-op is way easier to promise/code.

pugmire: dibs on a spaniel cleric!

Arcadia quest is a really well reviewed game and this sequel is supposed to add a campaign mode among other things but the game is mostly versus and the monsters are essentially loot pinatas.

I kicked this game, Children of the Zodiarcs. I new spin on final fantasy tactics which I loved.

Here is the link to their slacker backer page.

Also I have been playing a ton of Fire Emblem Fates on 3DS and Looking forward to Bravely Second soon.
