thought the video was cool, how about the music?

It's not bad, but they spend too much time leaning on that intro riff...I kept wanting it to serve as the prechorus for some gigantic, meaty, Electric-Worry-esque chorus, or at least turn into something a bit different, but it never happened. Bit of a dry hump.

Overall, their sound is solid...I like the dense synth bassline, and the bridge was good. Just feels like a song that could have been so much better.

Not bad. I'm don't think they really manage to separate their music from other electronic artists with a similar sound, but it's not offensive and the video is fun. I'd love to hear it with less compression too, but electronic, so that's not likely (might be youtube too, I'd have to hear it somewhere else).

This weekend you can stream from the coachella music festival:

Decent bands so far:
Chvrches - no idea how to classify them but it was electronic with nice vocals

Nice. Chvrches is good, I'd put them in the electronic category, but there is so much there it doesn't meant much.

Music related, and possibly of use to a few of us?

https://blog.vellumatlanta.com/2016/05/04/apple-stole-my-music-no-seriously/

TL;DR: Apple Music scans your HD for mp3s and wavs, adds converted versions of all of them to its database, then deletes your original files without asking. Also (poorly) autodetects what songs you have, and replaces them with whatever similar version happens to be on iTunes.

I saw that earlier. Still just the worst service in the music arena.

I've never heard the original version of the Carly Rae Jepsen song, but this seems pretty great nonetheless.

Also, Pogo is a national treasure and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. I will fight you to the beat of this song because it will be stuck in my head.

Not gonna lie...that's a super catchy song. And Tom Hanks makes everything better.

Yeah, between that and Call Me Maybe, Carly Rae Jepsen has proven she can write/sing/perform(whatever kids/agents call it these days) super catchy pop songs. That is a solid +1 from me.
