Oh, excellent. Thanks for giving them a heads-up.

I guess we should make the 26th the official date, since we technically haven't yet. So...boom, there we go.

Mark asked for my ham recipe do here it is.
used this as a base
https://youtu.be/1_6rwXjuQ-I

Smithfield spiral cut ham hickory smoked precooked
ground clove large pinch in coffee and large pinch in glaze with next 2 ingredients
honey 1cup
Brown sugar, half a bag
coffee (percolated, probably doesn't matter)

oven to 275
clove and coffee in the bottom of pan for liquid
precooked ham for 90 minutes covered

turned up to 350 glazed the shit out of it like she does and basted every 15 for another 90

probably could have cooked less but I was trying to get carmelization like hers (failed)

let me know how it goes.

Nice. Much appreciated. Also, that video is hilarious:

I love, you know, when you get a beautiful honey-glazed ham that's studded with cloves all over it, I love that, but I don't like chewing on the actual pieces of cloves. I don't know why.

I wonder if she eats whole cinnamon sticks, too.
