These are still more blue than I'd like (~6000K), but people in the thread who bought them seem to say they're pretty dang bright -- and they're not that expensive (I'm pretty sure the price is for a pair).


I also kind of think I could build these...just get some bases for regular halogens, epoxy a board into them and mount some Crees on each side...run wiring back to a small transformer box. Totally doable.

Are you thinking of putting these in the E30?

Not fully related, but I changed my DTR/halos over to an LED setup from BMS and I was pleased. Not really special or anything since post LCI e92/93s already have that whiter brighter look, but I digress.

In closing, eager to see the before/after and all that.
