As I write this two characters have been made, with a third (presumably) on the way. I would really like to start with everyone, so those of you who need to, start developing your characters more.

To address a few issues that I had spoken of before:

-Food and water supplies on an Airship; specifically, making this an in-game issue without making it tedious. I think I have arrived at a solution which will work not only for this, but for ammo and fuel concerns as well:

All measurements pertaining to the above will be based on actual numbers, but will be modular (measured in Units). For instance, if an Airship crew consists of 40 people, and each costs 1$ a day for food, and 0.50 a day for water, then one Unit of Food/Water will cost 60$. If we add in Fuel costs (per day of travel) based on weight and engine at (this is just a random figure) 50$, we can put the Airship's per day operating cost at 110$. Since you won't be switching airships often (I hope...) this allows for a relatively-one-time-only number crunching session and an easy Unit scale thereafter. Should be much less of a pain for all of us.

-Another issue is that of monetary value in the 1920s. I have no damn clue how much stuff cost back then, so I'm scaling it to about 10% of modern costs (hence the 1$/day cost for good food above). This will allow for more 1920sish cash values, while not prompting everyone to ask "how much is this really worth?" all the time. If anyone has an issue with this or a better scale, let me know.

I'll post more as it comes to me.

Hey all of you finish or start making your character so we can get this all kicked off this weekend since we are going to be on spring break with nothing to do all weekend!

I could be on crack, but I think the average salary in the 20's was 200-300. So you might be a little high. Then again I haven't looked any of this up.

I really didn't base that on anything when I made it.

I think C'thulhu puts 1920's values at around 5% of current, as opposed to my 10%.

I'll look up the actual value.

as long as the values we get payed are comparable to the values we pay for stuff there should be no issue with any cost conscerns

I think I'm gonna sit this one out, Katie and I are getting driven insane and I just want some peace and quiet when I leave here.

Started some of the heavy work on the airplane stats - should be ready to give you guys full stats for your aircraft soon. Some of the bonus numbers may change.

Glad to hear about the new plane stats, I'm looking forward to making money and blowing it all on plane upgrades. Being a Duelist, I really want to trick out my plane to give me the best chance. I hope you dont let studing for finals get in the way of having these new stats ready for the Xmas Break endurance episode.

Umm wow, just wow. Id say that Mr. GM just failed his roll v. sanity. Perhaps now is time to ask for crazy things.
