New Hampshire threatens to secede if federal government attempts to take any more state rights by trying to limit firearms with an upcoming bill.

Hopefuly it passes. Much of that state has been diluted by immigrants from surrounding liberal states in recent years, so I doubt it's a sure thing.

Oh man that would be the greatest. If we managed to nuke Philly, we could probably make a decent try at that, too.

In any event, I want to find and high-five that guy. He's like Ron Paul's superhero sidekick.

I'm not all that keen on the whole "this stops terrorists!" argument from any side. Just seems to prey on public fears and all that nonsense. Not saying it's untrue, but "rampaging terrorists" is really heavyhanded.

Gun are tools, applicable to many situations, not just national emergencies.

I think this is a far better example:

Absolutely.

Hell, I'd be strongly in favor of the exact same ad (the one JW posted), as long as it substituted criminals for terrorists. And got rid of the word rampaging, because that's just dumb.

You're right, I'm just sick of seeing terrorism being used like the war on drugs in the 90.

I also like John's ad much better, as mark pointed out it appeals more to common sense then media-hyped fears.

Student gives in-class presentation about campus concealed carry, professor calls police, police harass student.

Quote:
“After all, a university campus is a place for the free and open exchange of ideas.”

I'm not so sure about that.
