Got something random to say? Want to rant about something? Is that something simply not important enough to create a thread about? Just throw it in here. Consider this the chat thread or whatever you want. I'll start.

So I'm sitting here at the desk, 9:00-12:00am shift, and there's a gigantic medical conference going on. Like, I had to park in the big lot across from Krebs. There are that many people. It sucks. Anyway - some random suit comes up to the desk to write a check on it, and I notice he has a Waterman Phileas, the one with the semi-tacky green marble barrel. I watch closely as he writes, ready to produce mine and compliment him on his choice, then, BAM - it emerges from the edge of the checkbook flap only to reveal itself as...the rollerball. I stealthily slide my Waterman Phileas Fountain Pen back into my pocket, secure in the knowledge that I have better taste in both pen function and style.

I was pleased that that conference was there this morning. On the way to breakfast I mentioned loudly to my roomate as we passed a suit "We need to get some more pot dude." It was well worth it to see the suit look up totally shocked. After eating some of the crap and llama snot they call eggs and waffles I nabbed a pastry from the basket of pastries they had out for the conference. That was a pretty good pastry too. They need to serve that stuff at the caf. Next time I'm getting some coffee too.

Technically I should tell you not to steal food from conferences, since it's my job to some extent, but since said job has me sitting here with nothing to do at all at 7 am on a saturday, go nuts. I just don't fucking care anymore.

At least I had a decent conversation with Bob the awesome janitor guy about the Federal Reserve and the income tax and the Russian attack on Berlin and the various beachheads, as well as Richard Nixon's college follies. Good times.

I just spent the last three hours reading worthless flamewar threads that are left over on the blizzard forums. I hate my job so fucking much.

Too tired to work on Ciel without breaking things...maybe I'll find some coffee or something...

OK here is my random blather for today. First a little back story, started watching the anime Beserk on sat saw all but the last 6 episodes. I got 2 hours of sleep last night while working on my speech on the health benefits of eating venison. After the speech I finish watching the series. I then take a nap till gaming guild, which I'm disappointed to say that no one came to. Well during my nap I had a really messed up dream where I was in an anime fighting Demons with my sword and it came complete with bad dubbing, no one in my dream had their voices match up with their mouth. It was bad really bad. I really shouldn't watch violent bloody, screwed up demon fighting anime on that much sleep. Lesson learned. Night all.

In light of that, I'm really surprised I've never had any Evangelion related dreams, since by all rights I should have.

But I rarely have interesting dreams.

That's definitely the best thing on the site, but there are other decent things.

I almost wish we had a thread for your old game Mark.
Only because I'm listening to a band called killswitch engage.
