I don't think so but maybe it's just them playing games? The lead singer sounds VERY familiar.

I'm only a little ways in but this game is beautiful and interesting so far with a very unique world for a setting.

I played one of the earlier ones. It was good, but I never finished it.

I assume it's connected from the name, but I haven't played the other one.

Oddly enough, I found "OPUS: The Day We Found Earth" in the Switch store and it made it to my wishlist on there. It looked pretty good.

The Darkness II is free in the Humble Store right now. You play a shooty mobster who is also kinda the devil? I played about half an hour of it and was surprised by how much I was enjoying myself. Also, there's a 4-player coop campaign with its own separate story and characters.

An extra warning: Turn down your volume before starting it for the first time. Like...reduce it by 90%, or just mute until you can fix the game in your mixer.

Looks like they're on a run of free games...switched over to Spec Ops: The Line now. If anyone hasn't played it, it's kind of a modern Heart of Darkness set in the UAE (if I remember right?). Really good game.

I could give or take a few of the differences here, but man, they do a pretty good job of using FC2 to shame FC5.

Wow, that really does make FC5 look bad.

Conan Exiles is in the next Humble Monthly...looks like we can set up a private server, too.

https://www.conanexiles.com/blog/setting-server-conan-exiles/

Reviews are pretty mixed on Steam, but it seems like we can get past a few of the common complaints:

-They added Redshell (spyware) for a while, which rightfully earned them a lot of bad reviews. Seems like it's been removed.

-Buildings have a really stupid decay timer. This is removable on private servers.

-PVP isn't very well balanced (low level weapon exploits let newer players wreck advanced structures). Not a big deal on a private server with just us.

-Offline Purges -- giant groups of enemies come fuck up your settlement. You can put AI defenders in there, but they're apparently pretty useless. Private servers can set a minimum number of online players for a purge to start.

Other than that stuff, the world looks really cool, and the devs are kinda shitty (paid dlc released before promised early access content delivery, that kind of thing). A few reviews are comparing it to ARK, for what that's worth.

Anyway, I figured I'd see if anyone else was interested in trying Conan before deciding on the Monthly Bundle, so let me know what you guys think.
