Here are the potential careers and their specializations for Star Wars. Each has their own skill tree to work through and so there is even more specialization inside of each specialization. There is potential to multi-class, but lets all learn the system first...

Some of the specializations are self explanatory, but I added a bit for the more ambiguous ones.

Take a look at them, and if you're interested or want to know more, let me know and I'll do my best to describe them.

Also, if you'd like to call a class, or at least state your interest or intent to play one, list it below.

Bounty Hunter:
- Assassin
- Gadgeteer
- Survivalist

Colonist:
- Doctor
- Politico
- Scholar
- Entrepreneur
- Marshall
- Performer

Explorer:
- Fringer (Jack of all trades)
- Scout
- Trader
- Archaeologist
- Big Game Hunter
- Driver

Hired Gun:
- Body Guard (all-around fighter)
- Marauder (melee specialist)
- Mercenary (ranged and tactics)
- Enforcer (Coercion specialist)
- Demolitionist (Boom)
- Heavy (Speaks softly)

Smuggler:
- Pilot
- Scoundrel
- Thief
- Charmer
- Gambler
- Gunslinger

Technician:
- Mechanic
- Outlaw Tech (gear improver)
- Slicer (Hacker)

Brief explanation about specializations;

Each specialization adds a bit of depth to each Career. Each has it's own talent skill tree that you can unlock as you gain experience, (there isn't really leveling per se).

Talents can be passive or active, active ones allowing you to gain or lower dice on skill check rolls.
ex: An assassin bounty hunter has a passive talent that gives it a permanent boost die to stealth and coordination checks.
An active talent allows them to spend a destiny point to add their agility score to a damage roll.

Basically it allows for greater depth and variability in each career, that way everybody can all play bounty hunters or scoundrels and it isn't like there are a bunch of carbon copies of one another.

Paul,

I'd like to play a Marauding Hired Gun Wookie.

Will that work for your planned campaign?

There are no restrictions on races, careers, or specializations. I will do my best to try and tailor the adventures so that no one feels left out or useless.

Big emphasis on the "try" for that...

I'm going for a Duros Explorer Archeologist. High Smarts Adventurer type. Indiana Jones style.
