It wasn't bad. Not as exciting as Canada, but still decent.

This is why I hate Vettel. The guy has 4 titles and no class. They were both complaining in the heat of the moment, which is exactly what I would do to be honest, but after the race, you let it go. Vettel has been crying all season. I don't blame him though. Ricciardo is just making him look foolish this year. It has got to be frustrating to be exposed as a fraud after being so smug for 4 years.

Eh, judging by the headline in comparison to the rest of the article, I think that author was cherry-picking. Anyway, a little rivalry between those two will probably end up being the most entertaining part of the season.

And the contention that he managed to cheat/luck his way to four consecutive titles seems a bit far-fetched. I find it far more likely that either he actually has a worse car than Ricciardo or that Ricciardo is just very, very good.

Everything Vettel said in that interview was just shitty. Implying that he only complained because he knew that Alonso must have already been complaining. Then continuing to bitch and act like Alonso wasn't making any sense. Alonso brought up DRS, not because Vettel used it where he wasn't supposed to, but because he thought Vettel exceeded track limits and as a result got into the DRS zone. I'm not saying Vettel did this, just that this was Alonso's argument. Then he implied that Ferrari must be cheating. That somehow them being able to use DRS anywhere would explain some things. What does this explain? Ferrari are awful this year, I would hope that if they were cheating on that kind of scale that they could at least get results. Then he implied that there was no way that Alonso could have even known if he was exceeding track limits or not. It's all just shitty.

Alonso's response was that he saw Vettel exceed track limits, but he admitted that he exceeded them as well. He said that even if they started from pole that he thinks he would have finished in the same position and admitted that Vettel was faster than him and only wished that if they were going to duel like that, that it would be for 1st and 2nd. He didn't insult Vettel or Red Bull.

I get them complaining in the heat of the moment, they are flying around the track at insane speeds just inches from one another. It's got to be stressful for anyone, but Vettel's team principle didn't even have his back and responded that he wished there weren't such strict rules on track limits and that drivers could race more. He did not believe that Alonso did anything wrong.

Also, I don't mean to imply that he cheated or got lucky while getting 4 titles, just that any F1 driver with a little talent could have done what he did in the car that he had. He's not as great as he thinks.

Maybe I am too biased here, but Vettel's comments and attitude really piss me off, especially this year. Sorry for the rant.

I think the whole "Ferrari can use DRS everywhere" thing was just a joke. I dunno...I just don't see anything in that article that's much more than lighthearted poking at at a rival.

https://www.crowdcube.com/caterham/

Correct me if I'm wrong here but caterham appear to be crowd funding a return for the final race of this F1 season.

Alot of cool stuff up for sale there.

Caterham's crowdfunding worked. They will be in the last race (India I beleive). However I think they'll be running at least one new driver.

That's a good plan. You should definitely do that.

I'm going to not play the powerball and just hope Caterham calls me up and decides to gift me the team. My odds are realistically identical to yours.

Mathematically identical.
