http://jalopnik.com/dont-let-driving-without-a-steering-wheel-be-the-next-476311777

If I am EVER driving a car and I see someone doing this, and there is anyone in my passenger seat, we are doing a close pass at speed and my co-driver is yanking the wheel out of the person's hand.

Notice served.

I'm serious about this. I am totally comfortable with the risk of the snatched wheel scratching the paint on my car if it means we get the wheel and get away.

Paul....they are pulling their steering wheel off to "look cool". They are unlikely to be smart enough to track someone by their plates. They will most likely be shocked/pissed at their wheel being stolen.

Could always pull up alongside, take the wheel, and just outbrake them. Then I can escape using the power of turning.
